Design and Fabrication of the World’s Tallest Structure

In 1963, Stainless, broadcast subsidiary of FDH, designed and fabricated the “World’s Tallest Structure” for WBIR-TV in Knoxville, Tennessee. This tower was once listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. This 1,750-foot guyed tower had a face width of 10 feet and is still considered the tallest structure in Tennessee today.
